Hiyaaaa! Have you thought about – Cybars Video Marketing System (should be
on google have a look)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my
work buddy got great money with it.

What is you concept about background music on your vlogs?

  • MarketingBeyondAds 5 years ago

Gideon, love the advice. You’re right, you can buy an HD quality Flip video
camera for under $200. Throw in some inexpensive lighting from eBay, and
you’re ready to go. Great stuff!

Loved the transcription of your video – it is very helpful to really
understand what you are explaining and appeals and therefore appeals to all
the senses. Thanks for the idea.

People don’t realize how much they can really do themselves if they just
get creative and think outside the box a bit. All it takes is a little
    elbow grease half the time.

@marketingtutor Yeah just use Camtasia, or if you’re on Mac, like I am, use
Screenflow. Really easy to do. Just make sure you use a good microphone as
well. That can really help the quality of the recording. I recommend a
    Snowball Mic.

Hey Debby I’m just using a black screen – it’s a piece of black material
that I got from the material shop for a few bucks – actually, my wife got
it for me. Not using a script at the moment – just talking from my head –
it seems to come out more natural that way, which is what I want. Still
working on being more personable in my vids :) I’ll be revealing my exact
setup pretty soon. So, keep watching :)

Which course, or video do I need to watch helping me to record video with
the flip and record audio on a lavalier mic?

  • Gideon Shalwick 5 years ago

Cheers Juho! I’m really loving this. Helps me be creative while I teach –
the most excellent combination for my personality profile (creator/star –
Roger Hamilton). Let me know if there is anything specific I can create for
    you ok? Gideon

@GideonShalwick actually scratch that. I noticed YouTube automatically adds
the widgets to each video when posted. Thanks for the reply though and keep
    making the great videos!

@tyroneshum So true Tyrone – definitely a good idea to just keep on
practicing. If I look at some of my earlier videos, I just cringe, but I
keep them on there to remind me how much I’ve learned over the years. One
definitely becomes more comfortable and natural over time, as you get more
used to yourself in front of the camera :) Gideon Shalwick

@TVSteveHarris YT does do automatic voice recognition, but it’s not always
very accurate. I just get one of my team to do it manually. Pretty fast for
    short videos…

excellent quality here again, Gideon.. both tech and content. love it

I used to use green screen all the time. But the time it takes to setup,
edit and export the videos with green screens are just a little nuts. So,
this solution is nice and fast for me – which is the name of the game for
online video in my view – fast but still high quality :) Gideon

Hi there, have you heard about “Thousands 4 Surveys” (google it)? On this
website you can find helpful tips about how you can make easy cash over the
internet by just answering simple and easy questionnaires. It made it
easier for ordinary people to work from the comfort of home and
consequently experience economical freedom very quickly. Perhaps it will
    work for you too.

@shernandez20 hmmm… not sure I am seeing the same thing as what you are
seeing – do you mean you can see those social media widgets here on
YouTube? Or somewhere on my blog?

  • Gideon Shalwick 5 years ago

Hey Rob – yeah it kinda sucks. Any cures?

  • Ray The Video Guy 5 years ago

Honestly, a course isn’t really needed to get started. Cameras like the
flip will handle most of it for you automatically. You lose a bit of
control, but it should look good. Lighting is your friend :)

  • UVStudio 5 years ago

Your lav mic works on your flip cam? which adapter did you use? Also, you
have pretty decent lighting… I know you have sun light coming in from
your right. How else did you light your video? Also, you are very well
spoken. Most people out there are not as well spoken as you are in front of
the camera. And most people don’t know how to cut from tight to wide vice
versa like you are doing on this video.

    I do :)

This is one of those YouTube channels that is a “must subscribe” for me.
I’m getting the hang of doing video slide shows. My first slide show is
still responsible for an enormous percentage of our online income and your
videos, Gideon, have been very helpful in making this happen!
