    *Don’t Abandon Facebook Just Yet…*

    It’s no secret many have hinted at leaving Facebook and beefing up activity
    here on Google+. I’m thinking of doing that very thing in 2014.

    Even if it is a *pay-to-play* situation over at Zuckerberg & Co., don’t
    leave it high and dry just yet.

    If you have an active *Facebook Business Page,* be sure to get creative
    with the cover photo.

    I recently put together a video (see below) on this very topic and then
    shortly thereafter came across a post on +Social Media Examiner by +Jim
    Belosic of +ShortStack.

    Here are a few pointers Jim suggests when crafting a cover photo:
    - *Update your cover photo frequently*—once a month is ideal.
    - *Always include a photo description* when you update your cover photo
    image, and in the description, provide links and a CTA.
    - Use arrows and other design elements to *direct timeline visitors’ eyes*
    to the Like button or to an app.
    - *Coordinate your cover photo* with your profile photo.
